The judging for the Christmas Lights was quite challenging. There were many attractive homes and oh so many lights! I would like to thank everyone who participated. However, we can only have a limited number of winners and here they are:
May you new year be blessed! The Yard of the Month will begin again in March. See you when I knock on your door.

September's yard of the month goes to Diana and Micheal Jozwiak. Their beautiful kept yard is located at 12605 Pleasant Grove.
The Jozwiak's have lived in Enchanted Valley for 18 years and have two sons, Micheal and David. When I asked whom to give the credit to for such a well manicured lawn, Diana said the entire family. The boys, now off in college, usually mow and edge while her and Micheal maintain the flower beds. She said she would take a picture of their award and send it to the boys.
She added that they would be very proud! Congratulations!

August's Yard of the Month goes to Rick and Debbie Nickerson. It was a tough decision, but when I saw all the beautiful colors, I knew they were the winners. The Nickerson's reside at 12914 Rolling Valley.
As you drive by their home, you will see Roses, Hydranias, Butterfly plants, Lavender, Sage, Black-Eye Susan's, Azaleas, Purple Cones, and Bougainvillea. Rick was excited for his lovely wife, Debbie, because she dedicates a lot of her time pampering her flowers. When I asked who should receive the credit, without hesitation, Rick gave all the credit to Debbie.
For winning yard of the month, the Nickerson's received a $25 gift card to Lowes. Once again, congratulations!

July's Yard of the Month goes to Julia and Eddie Joe. The Joe's have lived in Enchanted Valley for 7 years at 12827 Shady Knoll.
When I presented the title of yard of the month to Julia, she was thrilled to receive the honor. They have been redoing their yard for as long as they have lived in Enchanted Valley. I asked her what their secret is and she told me it takes a lot of hard work. Julia is responsible for the plants, and there are quite a few, and Eddie's responsibility is the grass.
For all their hard work, the Joe's received a $25 gift card to Lowes. Please take the time to see their well manicured and lovely landscaped yard, it's beautiful. Congratulations!

June's Yard of the Month goes to Chad and Kristi Wimberly at 14810 Wallach. The Wimberly's moved in about a year ago and have been reconstructing their yard ever since.
As you drive by, you will see a beautiful green yard and lots of color in the bed. When asked who is responsible for the very well manicured yard, Chad gave Kristi all the credit. Not only will you see Kristi out there almost every evening watering, mowing, or just giving her flowers some TLC, but you will see her three sons, Aaron, Collin, and Wyatt, helping her as well.
For all their hard work, the Wimberly's receiver a $25 gift card from Lowes.
